Pastor Stephanie is originally from Gainesville, Florida and a graduate of Norfolk State University, Norfolk, Virginia, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism. She is an experienced result-oriented proposal manager/writer – with more than 30 years of experience in the Federal and State Government, Telecommunications, Gaming, and IT Software industries.
Stephanie began his ministry under the mentorship of Elder Theresa Dove-Waters and Rev. Kenneth Brown at Allen Temple United Methodist Church in Buford, Georgia. She is a 2011 UMC Leadership graduate and 2019 Licensing School graduate. Currently, she is a student at Course of Study School at Emory University’s Candler School of Theology in Atlanta, Georgia.
She has served her local UMC churches in the capacities of Youth Pastor, PPRC Chair, United Methodist Women President, Administrative Council Chair, Lay Leader, Lay Servant/Speaker, Liturgist, Communications Coordinator and Certified Clergy Candidate.
She was appointed as Pastor-in-Charge at New Prospect UMC in July 2021. Pastor Stephanie is considered a bi-vocational local pastor serving the church part time as well as working in her professional occupation as a proposal writer.
Stephanie has a passion for building God’s Kingdom here on earth. She is married to Randy and has one child, Nigel.
